Fall Fashion -- Making the Trends Work For Your Home This Season

Living in Miami, I get so excited when Fall comes around! It means that hopefully the rain will stop soon and I might be able to bust out a chambray shirt or skinny scarf!  I know, it's the little things in life...

I also get excited about playing around with my home decor to make things a bit more cozy. And lately, home decor trends are following fashion trends pretty closely. So, that means I can look at the gorgeous clothes and shoes coming off the runways (while I daydream about sitting in the front row of the shows) and figure out how to make that work for my home!

I thought it would be fun to show you some ways that you can take this Fall's fashion trends and work them into your home.

So, I've put together some looks with a neutral looking sofa (something like what a lot of you probably have at home), a couple of chairs and accent tables, and just played around with the accessories to get four totally different looks. All based on what the fashion mags are saying are this Fall's hottest trends.

How You Can Make This Work At Home:

Use different tones of creams and lots of texture to keep this from looking boring beige.

Adding faux fur throws, blankets and layering inexpensive rugs make a room cozy, AND easy to change up once the weather warms up again.

I hope this inspires you to change things up a bit for the season!
